Constitution
Viva la democracie! Each Toastmasters club has its constitution. Toastmasters International provides a standard constitution document. All individual club matters are defined in the club bylaws.
The Mercury Club Constitution key points:
- Mission and Purpos of a Toastmaster club is to provide a supportive and positive learning environment.
- Who can become a member. Memers rights and responsibilities.
- Fees and Dues.
- When regular and business meetins are held.
- Quorum and Voting rules.
- How the Club Officres are choosen and their cadence period.
- Duties of Officers.
- Committiees. Role of a club officer can be facilitated by a committy, which is chaired by the officer.
- Rules of Order - how to debate.
- Affiliation - club and Toastmasters Internationas.
- Legal Status and Dissolution.
- How to introduce Amendmentd to Club Constitution.
The Mercury Club Bylaws key points:
- Name of this club is Mercury Toastmasters Berlin, the club is located in Berlin.
- There are no restrictions on club membership.
- Individual member initiation fee amounts EUR 20,00 and acive member dues amounts EUR 54,00.
- Regular meetings of this club shell be held every 1st 2nd and 4th Wednesday. Executive Committee shall meet at least bi-monthly.
- There are no additional officers on the Board.
